Solr Mapping field names

Hi all,

I want to perform field name mapping on solr such that on every query a mapping file having field name maps (like field1 : field2 ) is read and in query and response all references to field1 are considered to be on field2. If any such feature already exists else where can i incorporate such functionality.

Please reply at earliest.
