> I have a project A for which I have defined a dependency B of type pom with scope as provided. Dependency C is a part of B and should have been obtained from B with provided scope. But in my project A I am not getting the Dependency C. The dependency tree for the project shows this message (scope updated from provided; omitted for duplicate) for dependency C but I couldn't find C coming from any other dependency in the dependency tree. This is giving a compilation error for my Project A and i cannot proceed further.
