Tomcat as Karaf WebContainer

Hello,

In the karaf web container manual [1] it is said that it can use "tomcat like" container, but the "war" feature uses jetty. Is it possible to use tomcat instead of jetty and what should be done to achieve that ?

Best regards,
Svetlin

Hi,

actually you have the choice between three containers by now.
That is Jetty - default
Tomcat - do not use in production
and Undertow - not sure if it's safe to use in production

Hi Svetlin,

Karaf wraps Pax Web. Pax Web 6.x ships Jetty (default for a while), but
you now also have the choice between jetty and tomcat: it's two
different features, both providing the same capability.
