[PR] test(workflow-operator): add unit test coverage for scan source executors [texera]
aglinxinyuan opened a new pull request, #6076:
URL: https://github.com/apache/texera/pull/6076
### What changes were proposed in this PR?
Add unit test coverage for the four file-reading scan source **executors**, selected from the Codecov report. No production-code changes. Every test is driven by a local temp file (`file:` URI → `ReadonlyLocalFileDocument`); no live DB/network/S3/Iceberg.
| File | Codecov before | Missed lines targeted |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `ParallelCSVScanSourceOpExec.scala` | 0% | 43 — construct + schema init, `open` byte-range partitioning (both `endOffset` branches + mid-file partial-line skip + header skip), `produceTuple` happy path, short-row null padding, all-null (blank) line discard, `close` |
| `JSONLScanSourceOpExec.scala` | 0% | 23 — construct, `produceTuple`, `open` line counting + worker partitioning (both ternary branches), row limit, `close` |
| `CSVOldScanSourceOpExec.scala` | 0% | 21 — construct + header-based schema, `open` (header vs no-header start offset), `produceTuple` + limit, `close` null-guard before open |
| `ArrowSourceOpExec.scala` | 0% | 30 — construct, `open` success + error-wrapping path, `produceTuple` batch iteration + offset/limit, `close` no-op before open |
New specs live in each executor's own package so their `private[...]` constructors are reachable, mirroring the existing `FileScanSourceOpExecSpec` temp-file/URI pattern.

Review Comment:
This test claims to verify that output fields are ordered by sorted attribute name, but both JSON objects already list fields as `id` then `name`, so the assertions would still pass even if the executor preserved input order. Using a JSON object with reversed key order would make this test actually validate the sorting behavior.

+ // reading one line past the boundary, so assert only that the union covers
+ // all rows without duplication.
+ val uri = writeCsv("1,aaaa\n2,bbbb\n3,cccc\n4,dddd\n")
Review Comment:
The byte-range partitioning test is intended to exercise the “drop leading partial line” behavior, but the current fixture has equal-length rows (28 bytes total), so `totalBytes / 2` lands exactly on a newline boundary. In that case worker 1 skips a full line rather than a partial line, and the test relies on `BufferedBlockReader` reading one line past the boundary. Adjusting the input so the split point falls in the middle of a row makes the test deterministic for the partial-line-skip path.

Review Comment:
Good point — the JSON objects now list keys as name-then-id, so the id-then-name assertion fails if the executor ever preserved input order.

Review Comment:
Fixed — the fixture now uses uneven row widths so totalBytes/2 (=12) lands inside the second row, so worker 1 skips a genuine partial line rather than a full one.
