Verified the specified commit (commit 6c9cc40e86cfa54eaa49f4b2f724f1a3b12e3434) included in the latest pull from the daffodil repository.

Verified, via review, changes identified in commit comment were implemented.

Verified the affected daffodil subproject sbt test suites execute successfully.
