[jira] [Created] (AMBARI-11159) Kerberos: Add kerberos-setup.sh
script back to the resources/scripts directory with appropriate changes
Antonenko Alexander created AMBARI-11159:
--------------------------------------------
Summary: Kerberos: Add kerberos-setup.sh script back to the resources/scripts directory with appropriate changes
Key: AMBARI-11159
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-11159
Project: Ambari
Issue Type: Task
Components: ambari-web
Affects Versions: 2.1.0
Reporter: Antonenko Alexander
Assignee: Antonenko Alexander
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 2.1.0
In 1.7.0, we had kerberos-setup.sh helper script to automate principal/keytab generation/distribution: https://github.com/apache/ambari/blob/branch-1.7.0/ambari-server/src/main/resources/scripts/kerberos-setup.sh
In trunk, it is gone.
We need to bring it back to resources/scripts directory.
We also need to make appropriate changes to suit the new CSV format.
* The header line causes the script to error out. If the header line is removed, then the principal/keytab specified by the first line is not created.
* The new CSV format has the full path to the keytab file. The script is currently creating all keytabs under the root path \(/\)
