[jira] [Created] (JCI-66) fam module not in root pom

fam module not in root pom
--------------------------

                 Key: JCI-66
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JCI-66
             Project: Commons JCI
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: fam
            Reporter: Christian Trimble
             Fix For: 1.1

The current trunk will not build from the root of the project with a clean repository, because the fam module is not referenced from the modules section of the root pom.

[jira] [Commented] (JCI-66) fam module not in root pom

Torsten Curdt commented on JCI-66:
----------------------------------

the jci fam is deprecated in favor of the commons-io fam,
unfortunately commons-io 2.x is 1.5+ and it would be a bigger release to switch to 1.5+,
so for now since there are not code changes for we just stick with the dependency to commons-jci-fam 1.0 and not release further fam artifacts,
(next is to fix the jsr199 compiler, move to 1.5+ and commons-io 2.x and then release 2.0)

thanks for the issue,
should be fixed in trunk now
