[jira] [Created] (FLINK-40670) MultiJoinSemanticTests[four-way-mixed-join-multi-key-types-shuffled] loses a row on release-2.3

Martijn Visser created FLINK-40670:
--------------------------------------

             Summary: MultiJoinSemanticTests[four-way-mixed-join-multi-key-types-shuffled] loses a row on release-2.3
                 Key: FLINK-40670
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-40670
             Project: Flink
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Table SQL / Planner
    Affects Versions: 2.3.0
            Reporter: Martijn Visser

{code}
[ERROR] org.apache.flink.table.planner.plan.nodes.exec.stream.MultiJoinSemanticTests.runSteps(TableTestProgram)[16] -- Time elapsed: 0.756 s <<< FAILURE!
java.lang.AssertionError:

but could not find the following elements:

Two of the seven release-2.3 runs in the window. It does not appear in any of the three cached master nightlies of 2026-09-13 to 2026-09-15, and {{MultiJoinSemanticTests}} does not exist on release-1.20.

Two observations, neither of them a diagnosis. The result is empty where one row is expected, so this is a missing row rather than the extra rows FLINK-40288 produces, and the two do not always occur together: the 2026-09-12 nightly has this one without {{JoinSemanticTests}}. The program name ends in {{shuffled}}, so input ordering is part of what it exercises.
