[jira] [Commented] (SAMZA-419) Add an index of content at the beginning of configuration table

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SAMZA-419?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14141408#comment-14141408 ]

Chris Riccomini commented on SAMZA-419:
---------------------------------------

The only hidden-awesome feature that I know of is typing '/' as a shortcut for search.

Maybe between the job name header and the config header we can insert a list of prefix links that would just be something like Set(configKeys.map(_.split(".",).first)).

> Feel it is a little painful to scroll down every time in order to find a category of properties. Adding an index of content at the beginning of the configuration table maybe helpful in two ways:
> 1) give users an overview of what can be configured.
> 2) easy to access one category's properties.
> I think the index does not need to be properties level, only need to be categories level, such as "job configuration", "yarn configuration".
> Maybe I miss some hidden-awesome feature that is already embedded in that page? I remember [~criccomini] and [~davidzchen] discussed this problem in another ticket but can not find it out.
