This class [1] seems to have the bulk of what we need. Some tailored code could be inserted into o.a.g.compiler.GoraCompiler#header()
This would parse a headers-template.file.txt and retrieve one template matching the given parameter string and apply the appropriate header to the generated code. Something like

I was passed a link to the unofficial license-plugin[1] for maven, which in its current form statically fills the right ASF license header to existing Java/XML source code. We can maybe tweak this plugin source code to use within the Gora compilier to generate various license headers @ runtime as you mention Andrzej.

The code generator produces source code that doesn't have license headers. This complicates e.g. the process of signing off on a release. The simplest solution would be to modify the compiler to always add an ASL header, but it would be nicer if the license was configurable.

What does this issue comprise of? Are th6ere existing libraries for this or are we looking at writing our own implementation? I found this [1], but I'-m pretty sure Andrzej was referrring to someth6ing slightly different. Any thoughts?
