sl4j build dependency

I'm trying to build various projects under contrib and they are
complaining about a missing dependency on sl4j.  Is there a way to work
around this issue to get the build process to complete?

Ah, sorry. I had checked the most obvious missing dependencies, but
quite a few of the contrib packages needed the SLF4J for unit testing
which I hadn't considered. I just checked through all contrib projects
and fixed the dependency issues.
