Regarding [Bug 22568] - Files created w. POI 2.02/3 crashes excel if rows > 1800

I have also found a problem in creating "certain" large files: Excel
crashes.
I think it is important that this bug be fixed as soon as possible, as it
relates to the basic function of creating xls files.
I cannot provide my complete example, as my application cannot be reduced to
a simple form.
However, here I can provide some more detail that might be helpful in
solving this problem.
I can produce a large (65,000 rows, 13 columns) xls file having identical
row data. This opens fine in Excel.
However, a smaller (8,000 rows, 13 columns) xls file with non-identical data
in the cells causes Excel to crash.
I am working with 2.0pre3
The file noted above that crashes Excel, works okay when produced with
version 1.10.
