build troubles with libapr
if you do a "standard" install with everything needed extra and
install it to /usr/local, then try to download the 0.18 source and
build it, it tries to use the /usr/local/lib/libaprutil, and not the
one in the downloaded source tarball.

hmm ... i really wonder if it would not be easier to provide the
packages in dedicated source files, just with links to the
appropriate version or the files itself (httpd, neon, openssl, ...),
just like you do it with the rpm's.
all in one seems to be unecessary complex, error prone, and difficult
to update.
maybe i should volunteer as release slave too instead of asking for
it ;))
