Tee XMLFilter outputs to file?

I am using XMLFilter's to chain several transformations together, but I want to be able to capture to file the results after each transformation.  Referring to example UseXMLFilter.java I want to capture foo1.xsl's transformations to file foo1.xml, and foo2.xsl's transformations to foo2.xml.  This is very similar to the unix tee command.  How can this be done?
