[Bug 123737] cannot close a message window /cannot "save as"/Cannot copy and paste

OpenOffice quit and I received a message window asking if I'd like to reopen or
close OpenOffice. I can click either option but nothing happens the message
just stays. I tried deleting OpenOffice but I then get a message saying the
program is open and needs to be closed to be deleted. I've also tried
downloading OpenOffice again and replace the existing one but I get another
message saying program is open and can't be replaced.
