[jira] [Created] (SOLR-9456) Freebase used in films example is no longer available

Alexandre Rafalovitch created SOLR-9456:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Freebase used in films example is no longer available
                 Key: SOLR-9456
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-9456
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Default Security Level. Issues are Public)
          Components: examples
    Affects Versions: master (7.0)
            Reporter: Alexandre Rafalovitch
            Priority: Minor

Solr _films_ example comes with a script to regenerate content from Freebase database. That database and API (after it was acquired by Google) [has finally been shutdown|https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/freebase-discuss/WEnyO8f7xOQ]

Do we delete the regeneration script and just leave the original export as is? Or do we try switching to the [new Knowledge Graph search from Google|https://developers.google.com/knowledge-graph/] ?
