[~kminder] The current setup is a bit scattered, but for future reference we will be using this puppet module to manage the slaves https://github.com/apache/infrastructure-puppet/tree/deployment/modules/build_slaves  along with this package list https://github.com/apache/infrastructure-puppet/blob/deployment/data/ubuntu/1404.yaml
And please let us know if you find configuration differences that we can mend.
edit: Currently the only node provisioned this way is ubuntu-us1

It would have been much more efficient and much less disruptive to the other project members if I could have created a local replica VM by having say a Vagrant file that reproduced the setup of ubuntu3 and debugged the issue locally.  I don't know how the Jenkins slaves are currently setup but I figured I'd ask the question in the hopes that there was an easy solution for this.  Thanks.
