[jira] [Created] (NUTCH-1873) Solr IndexWriter/Job to report numbe of docs indexed.

Lewis John McGibbney created NUTCH-1873:
-------------------------------------------

Summary: Solr IndexWriter/Job to report numbe of docs indexed.
                 Key: NUTCH-1873
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUTCH-1873
             Project: Nutch
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: indexer
    Affects Versions: 2.3, 1.10
            Reporter: Lewis John McGibbney
            Assignee: Lewis John McGibbney
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 2.3, 1.10

It is annoying when reading logs to NOT know how many docs were indexed at a certain point in time. Of course i could go to the Solr server and see this... if I have access to the URL, but this is not always the case. I do however always have access to the logs.
