[jira] [Resolved] (XERCESJ-1602) Iframe element is serialized incorrectly

Michael Glavassevich resolved XERCESJ-1602.
-------------------------------------------

    Resolution: Incomplete

I see no sample code attached to this issue. You haven't shown what API you're using so not clear that you're using Xerces at all for doing serialization.

> Components: Serialization
> Affects Versions: 2.11.0
> Environment: java version "1.6.0_24"
> Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_24-b07)
> Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 19.1-b02, mixed mode, sharing)

>
> when we try to serialize iframe element such as <iframe frameborder="0" height="250" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/w2CsEUn4ZuU" width="418"></iframe>
> The serialized output is:
> <iframe frameborder="0" height="250" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/w2CsEUn4ZuU" width="418" />
> This is invalid html after serialization, iframe element must be closed using '</iframe>' tag not by '/>'
> The sample code for reproducing this problem is attached on the issue.
