   It would be beneficial to my library if the API between `POST /db` and `PUT /db/id` were more similar regarding multipart uploads. Currently I can only create a new document with attachments if I know the id I want to use ahead of time.
   
   Or maybe my CouchDB is too far out of date. Has this been fixed in recent versions?
