Bug 42848: Need some assistance building on various platforms

  Hi.

I submitted this fix a few months ago but it's been held up on not being tested on multiple platforms.

I've built it on Linux (Fedora) and OpenBSD successfully, but that's it.

If someone can build it on Windows, MacOS, and Solaris that would be handy.

The fix is here. It provides API hooks for 1.5 and 2.0 to set QoS on sockets.

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=25700

The bug is here:

https://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=42848

Thanks.

Hello Philip,

All is well in apr 1.5 on Windows builds and tests w/o anything unusual,
2.0 will not build due to unrelated problems, specifically expat. (devs?)

E:\build\apr-2.0.x\xml\apr_xml.c(34) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open
include file: 'expat.h': No such file or directory

VC6 SDK 2003 R2

Regards,

Gregg

Anyone have a chance to try this out?

Don't need a test run, just a build.

Thanks.
