At the moment it doesn’t seem necessary for existing use cases.
Also for really advanced users, they may actually want to let their consumers work concurrently on one partition,
I guess this will then become a user’s responsibility for making their customized partition assignor behave correctly.

> Currently for during each generation, the partition ownership should be unique for members, which infers we shouldn't allow multiple consumers committing to the same partition. This logic is currently not supported on broker side, and we should discuss whether this is needed and useful.
