direction 'form' question
I just went around in circles for half an hour because the property I bound
to the 'value' parameter of PropertySelection was not being updated.
Turned out to be that I forgot to put the 'ognl:' in the template value
attribute.
Should it not be an error if a static binding is used to connect to a
parameter with direction 'form'?

+1 for that change. The more Tapestry does to avoid obscure gotchas,
the better its adoption will be.

That's a check the ParameterManager could make ... if IBinding.isInvariant() is true, the form is
not applicable.
