Apache Kalumet?

Hi,

I am interested in autodeploy (possibly going into the incubator as Apache
Kalumet), but I don't see any activities.
Is there nothing more that can be done than wait for another "sponsor"?

Thanks

Hi,

I don't think there is much overlap between Kalumet and Ace. And even if
there was, I don't see very much OSGi being used (pity, but true) - and that
makes for me autodeploy (or Kalumet :) ) useful on its own.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I'm only reading this list
occasionally atm. Have you explored if there's overlap between Kalumet
and Ace? I know Kalumet is J2EE focussed and Ace is OSGi-land, but
they're both fundamentally Java app management stacks, so might be
complimentary - particularly if you're having problems finding
sufficent mentors.

Hi Mylene,

first of all, thanks for your interest in the project.

Currently, there's one identified mentor on the project (Jim) but we need at least another one to active a vote on the project.

On the other hand, I continue to work on the sourceforge repository and I have already changed to license to the Apache 2.0 one.

Regards
JB
