spark packages

Hi

I am trying to dynamically load a spark package as a Zeppelin dependency in
%dep.
I can't seem to get it to work: does %dep need a maven dependency?
It would be great to be able to download spark packages as Zeppelin
dependencies, does anyone know who to do this in Zeppelin today?

Ram

that is awesome, thanks Simon!, it would be great to make the spark package
repo available by default for Zeppelin given Spark Packages are very
popular.

I’ve managed to get packages loaded using:

%dep

z.addRepo("Spark Packages Repo").url("http://dl.bintray.com/spark-packages/maven")
z.load("harsha2010:magellan:1.0.3-s_2.10”)
