[jira] [Updated] (HDDS-14851) [STS] Better Handling for PayloadTooLarge and Small Perf Fix
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDDS-14851?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]
Fabian Morgan updated HDDS-14851:
---------------------------------
Description:
Currently, when the request payload for an STS call is greater than the current max (around 32KB), an Unknown error is thrown in the AWS CLI. This ticket updates the error to give a proper *PayloadTooLarge* error.
Also, separately, *JAXBContext.newInstance()* is a relatively expensive call (some estimates between 100ms and several seconds). We don't want to do this for every STS response, especially since JAXBContext is thread-safe, so cache the first invocation of it.
