Yes, both the build and work directory versions of these .txt files contain
a space at the end of each line apart from the first few and the last line.

I investigated your changes to the text files. Your platform seems
to have added a single "space" character to the end of each line.
However not to the first few lines of each file. Very strange.
Are you sure that your text editor has not changed the source
txt docs under site-author? Do 'cd $FORREST_HOME; svn st'.
