Excalibur docs build failure?

Trying to compile the Excalibur documentation with either 'ant docs' or
'./build.sh docs' fails with:

     [java] ERROR   10234   [manager ] (): Error while processing
pipeline at
file:/home/woon/SMI/Avalon/jakarta-avalon-excalibur/baxter/build/documentation/sitemap.xmap:96:17



Output of the run is attached.  It also complains of missing
CatalogManager.properties.  Any ideas on how to resolve these problems?
