[jira] [Commented] (PROTON-1278) [Proton-c] Closing connection in proton::handler puts connection in TIME_WAIT state

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-1278?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15419165#comment-15419165 ]

Alan Conway commented on PROTON-1278:

The TIME_WAIT state may be related to the connection being closed very quickly, perhaps before the reactor has processed all the underlying poller read/write/exception events needed to close it down cleanly. Just a theory but a good place to start looking.
