cassandra gem 0.8.0 released

I just released version 0.8.0 of the cassandra gem:

http://rubygems.org/gems/cassandra

The major new feature is compatibility with the 0.6 betas of cassandra
(0.5 is no longer supported).

If you use ruby to talk to cassandra (and can use 0.6), please give it a try.
