[LAZY CONSENSUS] Re: [incubator] branch master updated: Update incubation.ad

Hi -

This page requires IPMC approval for changes. I approved Andrew’s PR. The changes are cosmetic and clarify the meaning. [1]

I’m declaring LAZY CONSENSUS and JFDI’d the change.

If anyone has objections to the change we can revert and discuss it in this thread.

Regards,
Dave

Re: [LAZY CONSENSUS] [incubator] branch master updated: Update incubation.ad

Hi -

The change to the usual DISCLAIMER is the addition of a “-“ and I don’t think that matters.

For DISCLAIMER-WIP the newer language is semantically equivalent but better phrased.

I don’t think we should force change.

Are there other places that we should update to incorporate this improved language?

The podling website checks should be fine since they only check for:
"Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects”

https://whimsy.apache.org/pods/check/disclaimer

Andrew: Also this page: https://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html#disclaimers <https://incubator.apache.org/guides/branding.html#disclaimers>

Dave

Hi,

I have no objections to most of the changes.

This has changed the DISCLAIMER text, would we require all podlings to update their DISCLAIMERS to match?

Thanks,
Justin
