[ANN] Maven Dependency Plugin 2.0-alpha-1 Released

The Maven team is pleased to announce the release of the Maven
Dependency Plugin, version 2.0-alpha-1

http://maven.apache.org/plugins/maven-dependency-plugin/ 

You can run mvn -U to get the latest version of the plugin.

This version supercedes org.codehaus.mojo:dependency-maven-plugin:1.0.
The metadata has been updated so that the command "mvn dependency:xxx"
will find the apache version. If you are having trouble with it grabbing
1.0, you may need to clean the file
/org/codehaus/mojo/maven-metadata.xml from your local repo to force an
update.
