Am I to understand that you wish to be able to put the attributes into request
scope (as opposed to velocity-context scope) in order to access them from all
templates involved in building the page? Maybe add a "scope" parameter to the
ImportAttributes() method or add a new method altogether?
The default scope for the tag ImportAttribute (the JSP counterpart) is
PageScope, which is roughly equivalent to velocity-scope ... did you specify a
different scope in the original JSP tile page?
