Robert Burrell Donkin commented on LEGAL-107:
---------------------------------------------
My reading is that this licensing has been derived from BSD-3-Clause by simple parameter substitution.
I recommend assigning this to category A (similar to AL2.0)[2]

> The DB Torque project would like to include the jgit library (http://www.eclipse.org/jgit/) in its distribution.
> Jgit is distributed under the Eclipse Distribution License - v 1.0 (EDL). The license is described as new-style BSD license.
> License terms can be found here:
> Is this license considered similar in terms to the Apache License 2.0 (as in http://www.apache.org/legal/resolved.html) ?
