I am getting the following errors frequently in my logs.
[Mon Jan 13 09:24:39 2003] [error] System: Broken pipe (errno: 32) [Mon
Jan 13 09:26:40 2003] [error] mod_ssl: SSL handshake interrupted by
system [Hin
t: Stop button pressed in browser?!] (System error follows) [Mon Jan 13
09:26:40 2003] [error] System: Broken pipe (errno: 32) [Mon Jan 13
09:26:42 2003] [error] mod_ssl: SSL handshake interrupted by system [Hin
t: Stop button pressed in browser?!] (System error follows) [Mon Jan 13
09:26:42 2003] [error] System: Connection reset by peer (errno: 131)

Re: [users@httpd] SSL handshake error
Posted by Laurent Blume <la...@infores.com>.
It was most likely a connection initiated by a virus, trying to exploit
an OpenSSL vulnerability that has been fixed since then. I don't
remember it's name, you can probably find more information about it on
the Apache website.
I've got also lot of those, as well as a few other from Code Red or some
other Windows-related exploit.
Not much to do about it, anyway, if you're using a recent
Apache/OpenSSL, you should not have any problem :-)
