[jira] [Commented] (LUCENE-8715) Make Lucene70Codec read-only

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-8715?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16781675#comment-16781675 ]

Alan Woodward commented on LUCENE-8715:
---------------------------------------

Lucene70Codec is already read-only, but we need to add a read-write versionĀ for testing the Norms and DocValues formats.

> Make Lucene70Codec read-only
> ----------------------------
>
> Key: LUCENE-8715
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-8715
> Project: Lucene - Core
> Issue Type: Bug
> Reporter: Adrien Grand
> Priority: Minor
>
> Lucene70Codec can still be written to. We should make it read-only and have its rw counterpart only available for testing.
