Graduation?

Hi,

I can see several discussions over several months about graduation for this project but there seem's little action. You can't stay in the incubator forever and there are only two ways out of it graduate to a TLP or retire to the attic. I assume you want the first option?

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justtin

Yes, we worked with Mark and all is almost ready (drafts on our side).

That said the goal to have batchee a tlp was to not limit it to ee
containers and it seems it didnt went as well as expected so a subproject
can be enough and reduce the work associated.

Will bring it up when i get a chance to get back a computer with more words.

Hi,

Just a reminder that the draft resolution to graduate was brought up 6 or 7 months ago so this has been going on for a while.

Thanks,
Justin

Neither does it seem is the rest of the year given how many times I've had to mention BatchEE in the incubator board reports :-) If the PPMC can deal with this before the end of February that would be appreciated. If not we will probably need to discuss retirement, given lack of activity and PPMC response.

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin,

Last part of the year is rarely the best moment to do admin tasks so I hope
we can make it before end of february.

If not we can move to a geronimo subproject but we would need to discuss it
before

Is anyone actually paying attention to this list?

At this point you have been mentioned in 4 or 5 board reports in a row. If the project can't make the final step to graduate then perhaps retirement needs to be considered?

Thanks,
Justin

Hi,

Any progress on this? I don't want to have to mention you in every IPMC report :-)

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin,

will wait for Mark to answer his current status but we *must* migrate
before end of the year IMHO

HI,

There doesn't seem to be a lot of discussion on this list and I'm wondering if people are paying attention?

Thanks,
Justin

Hi Justin,

yes, the thread was started the very end of july, I guess it will finish
soon this month (after holidays, august was a low presence month)
