JBake 2.6.2 has been released ([https://jbake.org/news/jbake-v2-6-2-released.html)] which should fix the image URL issues. Unfortunately this version is not compatible with the latest maven plugin (https://github.com/jbake-org/jbake-maven-plugin/issues/16). Also the fix for https://github.com/jbake-org/jbake/issues/567 is required (supposed to be released with JBake 2.6.4).
