[jira] [Comment Edited] (MESOS-7078) Benchmarks to validate perf impact of hierarchical sorting

---------------------------------------------------------

I built a tree of client in {{Sorter_BENCHMARK_Test.FullSort}} and the performance downgrades pretty badly. I guess it may be inevitable due to tree traversal. Should I add this test to capture it?

was (Author: guoger):
Should we also add benchmark tests with hierarchical roles? More specifically, build a tree of clients and perform same procedures as {{Sorter_BENCHMARK_Test.FullSort}}.

> Depending on how deeply we need to change the sorter/allocator, we should ensure we take the time to run the existing benchmarks (and perhaps write new benchmarks) to ensure we don't regress performance for existing sorter/allocator use cases.
