Problem with autoUpdateDataTable (Sandbox) within a Jetspeed2 portlet

Hi

I'm using the component autoUpdateDataTable (from
tomahawk-sandbox-1.1.5-SNAPSHOT.jar along with MyFaces 1.1.4 and
Tomahawk 1.1.3) within a Jetspeed2 portlet (i'm using
org.apache.myfaces.portlet.MyFacesGenericPortlet as bridge).

The problem is that the table gets displayed twice whereas, if I access
the webapplication outside the portal, the table is correctly rendered
only once.

I've noticed that initially, when the page is loaded, only one table is
displayed but when the JavaScript object Ajax.PeriodicalUpdater starts
updating the table, then a second table is added and both are then
refreshed.

Does anybody know a workaround for this buggy behaviour?

Thanks in advance
Francesco

Hi,

the autoUpdateDataTable will be replaced soon by an enhancement to
partial page rendering from sandbox. So, it`s not really meaningful to
try to get this issue solved.

It will be much more flexible, where you can update defined parts of a
page automatically trough a given timeout.

Hopefully i can work on this issue the following weekend.

cheers,

Gerald
