[jira] [Created] (GIRAPH-756) Provide a way to halt running
application
Maja Kabiljo created GIRAPH-756:
-----------------------------------
Summary: Provide a way to halt running application
Key: GIRAPH-756
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GIRAPH-756
Project: Giraph
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Maja Kabiljo
Assignee: Maja Kabiljo
It would be good to have a way to tell a running application to halt after current superstep is done instead of just killing it. For example, it would be useful when we have a long running application, but we need resources for another job, or we see that the result is good enough, we can just halt it and still get the output.
