   @andrashatvani Do you mean the state updater?
   I am currently working on enabling the state updater by default on trunk. We plan to officially release it in 3.6.
   However, you can already test it in 3.5 by setting the internal config `__state.updater.enabled__` to true. Note that we recently found and [fixed a bug](https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/13829) in the state updater. The fix is only on trunk.
