qmf hangs?
all qpid tools seem to hang on my server (qpid-config, etc...).
i think this started after i accidentally killed a qpid-config process
(ctrl+\).
the broker on this server has been restarted, but the problem persists.
the strange thing is that all tools manage to connect to the broker on this
server when executed from other machines.
are there any leftovers from that qmf session? how i can i clean this
qpid 0.8 on rhel5
thank you!

turned out its probably something either in my /etc/hosts or network config:
i had been trying qpid-config -a localhost:5672, but just now as i tried
with the server name and it worked -
qpid-config -a server1:5672
i'm pretty sure the 'localhost' way also worked, so there might have been
some change in server config in the meantime
thank you for you time, Ted!

The qpid tools use a normal AMQP connection/session to the broker.
There shouldn't be anything persistent and killing a process should not
have any effect on any other tool processes.
You can turn on logging for management traffic in the broker by using
the option --log-enable debug:management to get more information about
what's happening.
Since the problem only affects the one system, is it possible that
there's a PYTHONPATH problem or a problem with the installed python
libraries?
