Chainsaw and remote log files

Hello,

I was looking into how I could display remote log files with chainsaw. I
discovered:
- the "Load Remote Log4J File" menu option: what is the protocol below: ftp,
http? Anyone any experience with this?
- a note on VFS support being in-progress for the LogFilePatternReceiver. Is
this currently available and how should I use it? Are there any plans for
ftp or http?
