[jira] [Created] (DRILL-2945) Drill Will Not Start on Mac OSX When Disconnected from Network

Jim Scott created DRILL-2945:
--------------------------------

Summary: Drill Will Not Start on Mac OSX When Disconnected from Network
                 Key: DRILL-2945
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/DRILL-2945
             Project: Apache Drill
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Client - CLI
    Affects Versions: 0.8.0
         Environment: Mac OSX
            Reporter: Jim Scott
            Assignee: Daniel Barclay (Drill)

Tested with 0.4.0 and 0.8.0 - Fails with both versions.

When connected to a normal IPv4 network and getting a DHCP address, drill starts up just fine. !quit drill, and disconnect from the IPv4 network and start Drill and the jerset server starts and shows an IPv6 network address, but no queries can be run as it says couldn't connect to drill.

This is with the standard: sqlline -u jdbc:drill:zk=local connection
