Reopening this issue to enable the use of password change utility through db_setup.py file; password can be changed by using switch -changepassword and by providing required parameters as argument. if change password request is made by using this file then a flag shall be maintained in x_db_version_h table; which shall allow to change the ranger admin default password only once.
