Calc and also writer has crashed frequently since I installed 4.1.1
For Calc the spreadsheet freezes and doesn't allow additional entries or edits.
Sometimes it recovers the sheet but on two occasions did not. I have had
similar issues with the writer.

you could try to start with a new user profile:
- close aoo including quickstart
- rename"C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4"
to "C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4_backup"
- restart aoo

I have also experienced repeated crashes of O.O Calc on Windows 7.
Here is a print out from the window showing Open Office 4.1.1 has stopped
working (for what it is worth)

I have the same problem with Calc, esp. with worksheets with lots of formulas.
Starting with a new user profile doesn't help. One workaround is to open the
file from the File menu instead of double clicking. This way OO still creashes
but less.
