[jira] [Commented] (PHOENIX-5144) C++ JDBC Driver

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-5144?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16771990#comment-16771990 ]

Josh Elser commented on PHOENIX-5144:
-------------------------------------

[~yinghua_zh], I'm going to close this, but only because I'm not aware of anyone taking this up. We typically don't have a lot of C++ developers. That said, if someone wants to take this up, I'm sure we would accept the contribution.

If/when someone does want to build this, I'd suggest we do it via implementing a C++ driver for Avatica: [https://calcite.apache.org/avatica/docs/.|https://calcite.apache.org/avatica/docs/] This would allow you to interact with Phoenix via the Phoenix Query Server.
