Httpd crashes on a DNS query error

Summary: Httpd crashes on a DNS query error
           Product: Apache httpd-1.3
           Version: 1.3.31
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Critical
          Priority: Other
         Component: core
        AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
        ReportedBy: damien@gouju.net

When my apache http server rotates its logs, after the reception of a SIGHUP it
sometimes crashes after this error:

[alert] mod_unique_id: unable to gethostbyname("foo")

(foo is the name of my server, his FQDN is foo.bar.com). It seems to be a dns
lookup problem but I don't think that there is a problem with my dns servers...

It happened 2 times.

Other hypothesis, another computer on my network may have the same IP at this
time but I can't verify it...

If you need more precisions, just ask!
