Paul King commented on GROOVY-9535:
-----------------------------------
Do you have a reproducer for Groovy outside Eclipse? If so, if you can provide the code and OS, Java and Groovy versions, that would be great.

> Last week after setting up a new OS and toolchain, I started experiencing this with groovy-eclipse. [https://github.com/groovy/groovy-eclipse/issues/1094#issuecomment-617434546]
> This past week I noticed a similar issue popping up [here|https://stackoverflow.com/questions/61568809/groovy-cannot-run-batch-command-caused-java-io-ioexception-cannot-run-program] and [here|https://www.reddit.com/r/groovy/comments/gc8f2r/cannot_run_batch_command_caused_javaioioexception/]
> I don't know if it is an issue with the JDK that is being used.
